Anatomical Endodontics Hands-On Workshop

Course Summary

Endodontic treatment has evolved significantly from simple beginnings, and the success rate of this treatment has increased dramatically in the past decade or so, allowing clinicians to save teeth in a predictable and safe manner.

Anatomically oriented and conservative preparation of the root canal system has been the best approach for long term success in endodontics. The Anatomically Centered Approach proposed in this course allows us to compromise less dentin, to enhance the irrigation process significantly, and to seal the root canal system with the best science has to offer today. Anatomically Centered Endodontics is not about a new instrument, equipment or products, but the combination of scientifically proven techniques and materials in one simple, biologically driven, and inexpensive workflow. The main purpose of this course is to help clinicians obtain long-term success in their endodontic cases without the need of complex, or expensive equipment, materials and methods, while providing the best possible care to their patients.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn how to achieve long term success utilizing a science-based, logical workflow technique that preserves natural tooth structure.
  • Understand efficient and safe technique/method to achieve profound local anesthesia for all endodontic cases, including cases of irreversible pulpitis.
  • Discover the great advantages of a new irrigation solution which combines NaOCl, chelating agents, and surfactants, allowing for a simple and compre-hensive cleaning and disinfecting process.
  • Have the opportunity to put into practice in a hands-on session the knowl-edge achieved during the lecture.
  • Be able to immediately implement the knowledge acquired into their daily practice, including tackling more challenging endodontic cases.
