Biography: Matt Christie
Matthew Christie is a dedicated healthcare representative at Provide, working with dentists, veterinarians, and medical doctors who are looking to acquire, start, or refinance a practice, while also being able to facilitate commercial real estate loans in conjunction with a practice. Matthew joined Provide in 2019 with an extensive background in small business lending, owner-user commercial real estate, and franchise finance. In his current capacity, Matthew often speaks at local dental schools, where he educates students on business plans, personal credit, and budgeting; he also often speaks for local dental societies, where he lectures to dentists looking to acquire and grow their practices. Matthew holds a degree in economics from California State University, Sacramento and currently resides in Newport Beach, California.

Biography: Jason Schneller
Jason Schneller is a regional director of project lending at Provide, responsible for project lending in the California market. For over 20-years, Jason has specialized in helping our communities’ healthcare providers obtain loans for their unique business needs and has extensive expertise in practice acquisitions, practice startups, expansion and remodel projects, commercial real estate transactions, and debt consolidations. Jason has built a network of trusted practice brokers, equipment specialists, attorneys, CPAs, consultants, contractors, architects, and real estate brokers to help ensure his healthcare providers surround themselves with the right team of experts as they embark (or continue) on their practice ownership journey.
Biography: Rebecca Bran
Rebecca Brann is a Dental Practice Transitions Consultant with over 20 years of experience in the dental industry, including eight years as a Registered Dental Hygienist and several years training dentists in CAD/CAM technology at Henry Schein. Backed by one of the most trusted and well-established companies in the industry, she now helps dentists navigate the valuation and sale of their practices. With a deep understanding of practice operations and firsthand experience in the dental field, Rebecca offers personalized support, strategic insight, and a seamless transition process tailored to each doctor’s professional and financial goals.

Speaker Biography:
Dr. Yun is a board-certified anesthesiologist who specializes in dental office anesthesia. He obtained his
M.D. with honors from the University of Southern California and completed his post-graduate training at
the UCLA Center for Health Sciences. He is a Clinical Professor at the Western University of Health
Sciences, and an Expert Consultant and Examiner for the Dental Board of California. He is also a Safety
Inspector for the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF).
Course Summary:
This course fulfills the mandatory Dental Board of California CE requirement that all dentists must complete to renew their license. This course will discuss how dentists and oral surgeons can help combat the opioid epidemic in our communities, and how to responsibly prescribe opioids when necessary.
Learning Objectives:
Discuss non-opioid strategies for Pain Management in Dentistry
Review the scientific data that demonstrates the superiority of NSAIDS +/- acetaminophen for dental pain
Review non-opioid alternatives such as ketorolac, Exparel, and steroids
Discuss the Regulatory Requirements for Prescribers and Dispensers
Review basic principles regarding opioid prescribing, including screening and the use of CURES
Discuss Dental Office Procedures for Managing Vulnerable or Substance Use Disorder Patients
