The San Fernando ValleyDental Society is an approved and licensed continuing education course provider with the Dental Board of California: Permit #2065 that expires on January 31, 2014.
The San Fernando Valley Dental Society is also a registered Continuing Education Provider with the Academy of General Dentistry, Provider # 212140. to offer CDE programs for Fellowship, Mastership and Membership maintenance requirements (PACE Program). Our approved PACE Program Provider status expires on April 1, 2014.
Every year, we conduct six to eight continuing education courses, generally offering 7 CE credits each, in order that our membership be able to meet their bi-annual requirement of 50 CE units for their dental license renewal.
Our courses cover not only the two mandatory requirements of the Dental Board of California (The Dental Practice Act and Infection Control), but also a wide variety of continuing education coursework on such topics as:
Implant technology and Procedures
Endodontics
Periodontics
Treating Special Needs Patients
Prescribing Dental Drugs
Restorative Materials
Minimal Intervention in the Treatment of Carries
Practice Management
Cosmetic/Esthetic Dentistry
And, each course provides valuable handouts which you can take back to the office as a reference.

While all dentists and their staff are welcome to attend our sessions, membership entitles you to substantial discounts in course fees. Non-members pay $300 per course, where, Starting in 2013, members pay only $150 (reduced from $175 in previous years). ADHP and student members pay only $90. Retired members pay only $75.
